My studio is a calm space where you can unwind, try something new and learn from your mistakes. You will enjoy the process of crafting your own handmade ceramics.

Class information

Classes run weekly during the school terms, with breaks during the school holidays. At the end of term you will take home your finished work. Each class is of a two-hour duration.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes of course! I welcome all skill levels especially beginners. My classes are relaxed, and I love to help my students slow down and take time out from their busy lives. Most of all it’s about the enjoyment of playing with clay.

  • You will learn wheel-throwing and glazing techniques to make your own beautiful and functional ceramic art.

    For example bowls, cups, planters and vases.

  • You can view my class timetable for all current ceramics classes.

  • My home-based studio is in Mont Albert, Melbourne. It is located in the Boroondara council zone known for its leafy streets and plentiful parks.

  • There are plenty of public transport options: tram and bus stops are within 4 minutes walk; Union Station is approximately 15 minutes walk away.

  • There is a public car park located nearby (corner of Union Road and Whitehorse Road).

    There is limited street parking. You can also securely park your bike at the studio.

  • You need only bring an apron and an old towel. I will supply pottery tools, clay and glazes.

    Wear comfortable clothes that can withstand some dirt and dust.
